Aquarium!
Last weekend, Person took us to the coast. As you know, we have been asking Person for a very long time to take us to the aquarium. Finally, she said yes! We had to drive for about 20 minutes from where we were staying to get to the aquarium. Elsie and I were so excited that we could not keep still. By the time we arrived, Elsie was so tired that she fell asleep and missed the whole trip! I have shown her these pictures and told her all about it. She is still a little sad so I've promised to bother Person until she takes us to the aquarium again!
Person says this purple thing is alive! |
At the aquarium, we saw lots of beautiful and colorful fish. I even saw one that was black and white and zebra stripped! I wanted to take this zebra fish home as a pet but Person said no. She though it would miss the other fish at the aquarium but I think I'm more fun than a fish.
Do you think our friend I Am Otter lives here? |
Since Elsie and I really love otters, I was very excited about the otter exhibit. I though our friend I Am Otter lived here so I was a bit disappointed when Person reminded me that Otter lives with Otter Keeper in England.
Oh, I think I see one coming... |
I waited patiently at the glass for an otter to swim by and then suddenly I saw one!
There's the otter! |
The otters were very cute and were playing happily in the water. I wanted to go join then but again Person said no. I think it was time for her nap because she was being very unreasonable. There was an opening near the top of the water and Person could have just thrown me in.
Look at me, I'm a zebra otter! |
After that, Person showed me a fun place where I could play that I was an otter and that made me feel better. Maybe I can play with the otters next time we visit.
Otter water? |
At the gift shop we saw some "Otter water". I thought this was water from where the otters were swimming and I wanted to take some home to put in my bathtub so I could be an otter too. Person was disagreeable and said the water was just for drinking. Maybe if you drink it, you turn into an otter. That must be it!
Can we take them home please?! |
We also saw some sweet otter anipals at the gift store that needed a new home. I asked Person very nicely but she said no. Maybe I will get one for Christmas next year but that is a very long time to wait. They did not carry my friend otter's books which was sad. Person reminded me that I already have all of otter's books so that made me feel better.Overall, I had a very good time at the aquarium and can't wait to go again. I have already made a list for Person on ways she can improve to make our next trip even better! For some reason she doesn't appreciate my lists and organizational skills. I wonder why?
Dear Julie Jane, Person does not appreciate your organizational skills because they're, well, sort of non-existent. But you are so cute that it doesn't matter.
ReplyDeleteI am very cute. Person is always saying it is a good thing that I am.
DeleteIh my, sorry to hear that Elsie slept through the aquarium visit. $2.00 seems like a good price for otter water. Do they sell it by the gallon?
ReplyDeleteHi Little Fox! How are you?
Delete$2.00 is a very good price for otter water. I don't know if they sell it by the gallon but you could ask. Have you ever been to the aquarium? If not, you should have your roommates take you!
What a fun trip to the aquarium! I would like to go someday!
ReplyDeleteIt was beary fun! You should go someday! Come visit me and I'll take you!!!
